What Participants Are Saying About Redefining Health
Since attending this most recent Redefining Health workshop, I can truly say that my life has been changed. This workshop opens your eyes, as well as your mind, to acknowledging the things happening around you. Too often, we become used to our experiences. The touch of your partners hand, the sounds of a child’s voice; we become comfortable with these senses and don’t give them the acknowledgement they deserve. This workshop reawakens you to these experiences. I think everyone should attend this workshop if given the option, I promise you will not be disappointed.
Lindsay Cribbs, Undergraduate student and nanny
I attended Redefining Health in early October. I attended for both personal and professional reasons. I am at a point in my life where I feel I am surrounded by illness. As a Nurse Practitioner, I deal with it every day at work. I am also working through chronic Lyme disease. I needed help with the struggles of a chronic medical condition, and burnout I feel with my work. Bob and Diane were very captivating. The ideas they presented from other global tribes and cultures were simplistic, yet profound framed in our modern American society. Anyone, no matter what age or season of life they're in, can benefit from attending this seminar. Redefining Health can help those with illness, those who are struggling in relationships, or anyone with uncertainties in life. I received many gifts during the two day seminar. Namely that, instead of viewing my illness as a cross to bear, I can now see the gifts it has given me. Without Lyme disease, I wouldn't have learned to take care of myself as well as I do now, I wouldn't be interested in integrative health as a means to further my healing and that of my patients, and I wouldn't have attended Redefining Health. I hope to apply what I learned at the seminar in my professional practice by pursuing a wellness model for healthcare, rather than simply accepting the disease care model that we now have. I will not soon forget what I have taken from this seminar. I hope to attend Redefining Health and other seminars in the future at Tai Sophia. What a gem!
